Pesan IUFoST melalui Prof Aman tentang Forum Diskusi

Dear Ketua Cabang and all Patpiers,

Dengan ini kami informasikan  bahwa IUFoST akan menyelenggarakan Forum Diskusi (Webinar) tgl 7 Oktober 2021, sbb:

  1. Tujuan Forum, mendapatkan gambaran tentang Program/ kegiatan2 apa saja terkait peran ahli pangan/ teknolog pangan yang dapat mendukung tercapainya SDGs (misal SDG No 2, Zero hunger : End hunger, Achieve food security, Promote sustainable agriculture).
  2. Indonesia dan beberapa negara lain diharapkan dapat menjadi model untuk memberikan solusi lokal dengan bukti berdasar sains (science-based evidence) yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk masalah global.
  3. Hasil diskusi akan digunakan untuk menyusun bahan Declaration and Action Plan – IUFoST menjelang Hari Pangan Sedunia (WFD).

Sehubungan hal tersebut dengan ini kami mohon Bp Ibu:

  1. Dapat menyampaikan gagasan2 sesuai tujuan Forum tersebut, yaitu tentang program/kegiatan yang dapat mendukung tercapainya SDGs, dan/atau
  2. Berpartipasi pada Webinar IUFoST 7 Oktober 2021 pukul 00 Eastern Time North America (18.00 WIB), dengan registrasi lebih dahulu pada Link di bawah ini.

Untuk gagasan/ saran-saran terkait (1) mohon dapat disampaikan melalui Sekretariat PATPI atau langsung ke WA/ Email saya, sebelum tgl 6 Oktober 2021.   Terima kasih.

SHARING FOOD SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY MODELS BY COUNTRY AND REGION

The Forum’s focus and purpose is to recognise and highlight some of the ongoing work of IUFoST Adhering Bodies and the policy framework in countries/ regions towards the Sustainable Development Goals.  These models offer science- based evidence of local solutions that can be applied to global problems. This is a discussion platform between IUFoST members following the UN Food System Summit and prior to the celebration and recognition of World Food Day.  One of the outcomes will be the Declaration and Action plan released prior to World Food Day that will inform the sustainable actions of IUFoST and its partners. The Declaration and Action Plan will be reviewed and updated again in the IUFoST during the IUFoST General Assembly at the World Congress in Singapore in 2022.

Japan, Switzerland, Canada, India, Nigeria, Indonesia are among the countries offering models of the successful application of Food Science and Technology towards solutions for local and global problems.
